Freddy stars at the Tokyo Olympics 2020
Everyone has been talking about the Olympics and we can see why! What a display of talent it was this year, and we were extremely excited to see Freddy on the podium in Tokyo 2020.
As an Italian Brand, it was only right that Freddy worked with the women’s Italian gymnastics teams to bring them beautiful outfits designed for movement, a foundation of Freddy attire. The girls were a wonder to watch and we are so proud of their amazing achievements.
Vanessa Ferrari
Vanessa Ferrari won the silver medal in the women's free body of Artistic Gymnastics. Her powerful choreography and strong landings landed her with an amazing score of 14.200. What’s more, this is her first Olympic medal at 30 years old, a true feat seeing as in the last 50 years, only two women in their 30s have won an Olympic gymnastics medal! Way to go, and prove it’s never too late!
The butterflies
Italy’s five-woman rhythmic gymnastic team called the butterflies, finished in third place, behind Bulgaria and Russia, providing Italy with it’s 40th Medal in the games. Their performance was spectacular, stunning their audience with their beautiful and captivating movements. Congrats to the whole team: Alessia Maurelli, Agnese Duranti, Daniela Mogurean, Martina Centofanti and Martina Santandrea!
Milena Baldassarri & Alexandra Agiurgiucules
Not to mention the two individualist gymnasts, Milena Baldassarri who came in sixth place in Rhythmic gymnastics and Alexandra Agiurgiucules who came in fifteenth.
